The Andreu Group and ANESPRO scholarships

Last Friday, 5 June, during the graduation ceremony for the Vocational Training students at IES Jaume Huguet in Valls, the award ceremony for the Scholarships for Excellence in Vocational Training of the ANESPRO Foundation at the Valls Cultural Centre. The event was attended by the Mayoress of Valls, Dolors Farré; the President of the Chamber of Commerce and the ANESPRO Foundation, Josep M Rovira i Valls; and the Director of the IES Jaume Huguet and Vice-President of the ANESPRO Foundation, Josep M Solé, as well as representatives from the companies awarding the scholarships.

For this 2026 ANESPRO Foundation decided to launch a New Excellence Scholarship Model, one for each of the intermediate vocational training cycles, aimed at students with the best academic records who continue studying a higher degree, to which eight companies have joined with enthusiastic and determined involvement, among which is the Andreu Industrial Projects Group.

This new scholarship model aims to strengthen the connection between companies, students, and the region, and its objective is to recognise and reward the effort, perseverance, and academic performance of students with the best records who continue their studies by pursuing a higher degree. 

At the scholarship award ceremony, she was present Lydia Gistau, from the HR department of Grup Andreu, who presented the scholarship to the student DANIEL GONZÁLEZ RIBERA. Also present at the ceremony was Jordi Andreu Ribas, CEO of the Andreu Group.

The total number of scholarships that were awarded during the ceremony are:

    1. JURIMA MERITXELL MACIAS MONTAÑO. Deliver the scholarship Father Marc Franquet, representative of’ESSITY.

    1. POL ALONSO LOZANO. Award the scholarship Jordi Ferrando Lavilla, representative of’INFORDISA.

    1. Daniel González Ribera. Award the scholarship Lydia Gistau, representative of the GRUP ANDREU INDUSTRIAL PROJECTS.

    1. ARIÀ BELEGÓ PUJOL. Hand over the scholarship Mireia Alcobé, representative of’EUROPASTRY.

    1. Érik Gómez Navarro. Deliver the scholarship Mercè Avellà Guasch, representative of MATRIC VALLS.

    1. GUILLEM FÀBREGAS SOLORZANO. Hand over the scholarship Anselm Horta representative of GOMA CAMPS.

    1. BIEL CAMPOS RUBIO. Award the scholarship Marta Garcia Grau, representative of’ALT CAM AUTOMOTIVE.

    1. Laia Serramià Sans. Presents the scholarship Xavier Artola Masip, representative of’FM Logistics.

The ANESPRO Foundation

ANESPRO, the former professional school foundation of Valls, was founded thirty-two years ago, in 1994, by Valls Chamber of Commerce of the ancient Polytechnic Institute of Vocational Training, the Jaume Huguet Secondary School, with the aim of channelling the work experience placements of vocational training students into businesses in our regions (Alt Camp and Conca de Barberà). Its board of trustees is made up of the Chamber and the Jaume Huguet Secondary School, but also includes the Valls Town Council, the Alt Camp Regional Council, the Conca de Barberà Regional Council, and the company Essity Spain, SL, Andreu Manteniment Industrial, SL, Europastry, SA and Kellogg Manufacturing Spain, SL.
