Andreu Manteniment Industrial signs collaboration agreement with Manos Unidas

ANDREU MANTENIMENT INDUSTRIAL S.L. signed a collaboration agreement with Manos Unidas to help finance a development project in Angola.

The project called “Improving access to drinking water and hygienic and sanitary conditions in a primary school in Kangandala, in Angola”, aims to provide access to sufficient and safe sanitary services to 1,005 students and 27 teachers.

This project supports  Sustainable Development Goals 6 and 3, “Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all” and “Health and well-being”.

Children are forced to act as small adults, carrying water and firewood, working in the fields and caring for younger siblings. Due to the increase in the number of pupils at the school from the initial 230 to the current 1,005 pupils, the project to improve and extend the facilities has become necessary.

The project consists of building 8 new bathrooms, replacement of pipes, 2 water tanks of 10,000 litres each and Hygiene, Health and Environmental Programmes.

From Andreu Manteniment Industrial, we are very happy to be able to collaborate with such an important project for the population of Kangandala.
