The Andreu Group collaborates in a training program aimed at young people at the Santa Clara Foundation

The Grup Andreu, through the company Andreu Mantenimient Industrial has been financially and morally involved in the project Young Course, from the Santa Clara Foundation, which leads Sister María Lucía Caram Padilla.

The project consists of various services and support aimed at young people.

The service oftraining legal advice and labor has as its main objective to provide support and accompaniment to families, in the legal field, as well as to find the best training and/or labor itinerary for each person. The monitoring is personalized, where the needs and work objectives are defined based on the specific circumstances and interests of the families and young people.

Training support

Training for better insertion and/or progression in the world of work: Specialized training in a specific trade is a differentiating and essential feature of great importance.

Language training: Catalan and Spanish training has been promoted, through the entity's internal courses as well as those provided in the city's network, being a vital tool so that people can develop in an autonomous and self-realized manner.

Rooting through training: The creation of the new legal figure of rooting through training has allowed people who have been registered for two years to take a professional certificate training course and thus obtain the Foreigner Identification Card.

Youth Direction Training

The objective is to prevent, detect and assist young people who are in a situation of social exclusion and/or addictions and/or police and criminal records.

Young people are given the opportunity to train in values, healthy habits, languages, sports and a trade, mechanics or cooking, so that they can enjoy greater self-esteem and mental health. Achieving the feeling of belonging to a cohesive group, while achieving the same autonomy that allows them to integrate into society, moving away from addictions and criminal acts. And consequently, improving and regularizing their personal, administrative, training and employment situation.

The participants have been training for 8 months, in each of the three editions 25 boys and girls between 18 and 34 years old have participated. The personal circumstances of each person are different; former guardians, people with a police record, with addictions, with very vulnerable personal, work, economic and housing stability. In most cases they do not have a social or family environment that can provide them with opportunities to integrate into the city of Manresa.

The Andreu Group

For all of us at Grup Andreu, it is a source of pride to be able to participate in this solidarity project. The education, training and integration of young people into the world of work and technology is a challenge that we share from our business DNA.

Thanks to Sister Lucía Caram and the entire team at the Santa Clara Foundation for your expertise.
