The Andreu Group participates in the first Business & AI Forum

Valls, November 28, 2025. The Andreu Industrial Projects Group participated, on Wednesday, November 26, in the Business & AI Forum: reflections on the impact of artificial intelligence on companies, organized by the Valls Chamber of Commerce with the title of: Business & AI Forum: Valls leads. High performance with AI, a conference that brought together entrepreneurs, professionals and institutions interested in learning how artificial intelligence can boost competitiveness, efficiency and talent management in small and medium-sized businesses.

The event, held in the Chamber's auditorium, featured three leading speakers in digital transformation and talent. Paul Stephen, CEO of Soul Phygital, opened the day by talking about human intelligence on the global stage. He highlighted how AI can transform omnichannel business, improve productivity and reduce costs, with a focus on customers, productivity, new business models and people. He also highlighted the importance of a risk management strategy and responsible adoption of AI to achieve a positive return. 

Regarding the presentation of Laura Perea, AI Strategist PepsiCo He spoke about embedding responsible AI in corporate identity, highlighting the ethical management and governance of AI in global companies such as Nestlé and PepsiCo. He cited the dilemma between the promise of AI and the difficult-to-measure returns and recommended following the OECD principles for AI: transparency, robustness and fairness. 

Finally, Jordi Arrufi, corporate development director of Mobile World Capital Barcelona, reflected on how the new wave of technology will transform work. He highlighted emerging applications such as cancer detection, advanced robotics, or AI agents that control computers, and predicted that within five years AI will be able to generate logic in the human realm and create complete audiovisual content. He also stressed that, despite automation, the net effect of AI will be the creation of more jobs on a global scale.

Jordi Andreu Ribas, manager of the Andreu Industrial Projects Group, moderated the round table among the speakers and later among the audience on the challenges and opportunities of AI for companies.
