The Andreu Group, Cambra Valls 2025 award

On Friday, March 21, the second edition of the Valls Chamber Awards 2025 at the Casa Fèlix Restaurant in Valls. The event, open to the business world of the Valls and Alt Camp area, aims to promote knowledge and collaboration between companies in the area, creating opportunities to establish relationships between businessmen, businesswomen, managers and directors of the territory, and thus take advantage of synergies that drive business growth. 

The Grup Andreu, industrial projects, was one of the companies awarded, for its entrepreneurship and continued growth in recent years. The other awarded companies were: Altcam Automotive, Ginac Foundation, Molds and Dies Fisas i Navarro, Clofent Plastics i Revlon. The former president of the Valls Chamber of Commerce, Marcel·li Morera, recognized for his work and dedication at the head of the institution between 2002 and 2019. The Cambra Valls 2025 Honorary Award went to the Colles Castelleres of Vallen: the Old Group of the Children of Valls i la Young Boys' Group from Valls.

The event was attended by more than 170 people linked to the business fabric of the region. The event's motto, “Let's do business, let's do pineapple, let's do future”, reflects the will of the Valls Chamber of Commerce to promote cooperation and joint growth of companies in the region.

The event began with institutional speeches by the mayor, Dolors Farre, from the president of the Valls Chamber of Commerce, Josep M. Rovira, and of the president of the General Council of Chambers of Catalonia and president of the Chamber of Barcelona, Joseph Santacruz.

The academic part of the event then took place, featuring an enriching conversation between the Gabriela Domingo, director of Revlon operations in Spain, and Jordi Andreu, manager of the Andreu Group, presented and moderated by the journalist Sara Sans. 

The conversation highlighted key issues for the business sector, such as the lack of talent and the difficulty of retaining it. The need for more agile regulation by the administration to allow companies to be more efficient was also addressed. In addition, it was highlighted that digitalization and artificial intelligence are streamlining production processes, providing companies with more competitiveness and adaptability. After the awards ceremony, the event featured a highly applauded speech by John Font, president and director of Grup Bon Preu, one of the most important distribution companies in Catalonia.
